LMAO just saw the latest vid saying he quit and is playing the victim when he knew exactly what he did.

stefke_be

If he would have said, "Sorry guys I didn't have the time to grind for each class and make build videos for them so I resorted to modding my game and I take full responsibility for the consequences", I would have mad respect for him. But no putting this up to SE and PCF blaming people for "cyber bullying" that is some Amber Heardesque drama. He got cought with his own videos multiple times and only has himself to blame for others pointing him out on that. I understood in a way what he did, but this declaration really makes me think so much less of him.

0utriderdetected

1 million percent this. Just admit it all, instead of scapegoating other things. Very well said

Thechanman707

I would rather people mod the game and tell me what's best so I can make educated decisions while gearing legitly. Idk why they would hide it.

Wargazmatron

I believe part of the problem is as he modding items to a point they can’t exist legitimately. One thing to use mods to intentionally create things that can drop in the game so you can test them out quickly; another to make items that cannot exist in the game at all under legit terms to make your builds look badarse.

LadyAlekto

And then spread the false claims that they can

Wargazmatron

Yes. Lol, also the charging people money for “targeted runs” doesn’t sit well with me at least. Not cheating but also pretty questionable.

howdareyou18

I really resonate with this ☝️ If you mod, sure, go ahead, let me know what works best so I can go and FARM that stuff! Don’t tell me I can get pieces of gear with different stat rolls altogether and say “you need this”!

AtticaBlue

Money. YTers make more money by being the “first” to do X, to establish themselves as a go-to authority/resource and so on. Just like news organizations race to scoop each other or companies race to get similar products out on the market before a competitor.

Thechanman707

This is a reason to mod though. You could be the first with BIS to show off the maximum of the build. Just be straight with the community and don't play that build in your streams. Seems like that would go a lot further toward the goal you stated.

AtticaBlue

I’m not following. It’s not helpful at all to players if the YTer is cheating because those players would have to cheat as well to get the same gear or setup. At which point, why are we even playing? There’s no thrill of the chase or anything else traditionally associated with looter shooters (or even playing games in general) if we can just give ourselves everything. So if the YTer *tells* you they’re modding, then the value of their content goes down. That’s why they have to hide it.

Thechanman707

The issue is that he didn't make BiS gear, he made cheat gear. If a YT wants to mod in legit gear for testing that's fine. I'd rather they do that work than us all guess.

AtticaBlue

My point is he wouldn’t get the views if he did what you’re describing. There’s no value in it since anyone of us can go and do the same thing (e.g. get a trainer or whatever and mod our gear). We don’t need his videos for that. The value is in making it *appear* that it’s legit—in his case by not disclosing that he’s cheating.

Thechanman707

That's just not true. Theres no functional difference between modding in BiS to show off a build and earning it. The point of YouTube build videos is to show options in game. If the YouTuber wants to mod in BiS so they can try out builds without wasting time farming to find out it's garbage who cares The point of the video is to show off a build, how they got the build is irrelevant as long as it's obtainable without mods.

AtticaBlue

Nah, it’s relevant. If I’m choosing between two streamers—one who mods and one who doesn’t—I’m going with the latter because the one who mods makes me question *everything* about what they do and how they do it. Like, maybe it’s legit, maybe it’s not. It’s like an asterisk beside Rodriguez’ name in baseball. Bottom line, he didn’t disclose anything. There’s an obvious reason for that and it tells you all you need to know.

Thechanman707

Just be transparent about it. Using a modded build for showcasing is fine. It's insanely easy to know what gear is and is not legit, we know the limits of the system. It may not be your preference and I'm not trying to convince you of that. I'm just saying there's not an issue with that the same way that laserfuck caused when he made gear that can't exist

vapoorer

I know you know but just saying to say it.....What did you expect in todays day and age from these kind of people? Listening to even a brief moment into any one of his videos or a quick glimpse at his channel would tell anyone exactly what kind of person he is. Key things people like this do when they get caught red handed: \-Always put the blame on someone else \-Take no responsibility for your action \-Play the victim \-Start spewing out lawyer/law stuff. They do this because they know people out there are just as dumb to believe it. Plus he knew had he admitted to cheating his channel would be dead. So by not admitting to it sure he will get some heat for a couple or so months but after that like everything else people will move on and forget. He couldn't care less if we or anyone respected him for doing the right thing by telling the truth. All he cares about is views and money. Thats it! As i said just look at his channel. In todays time sadly cheating has become the norm. I would say over the past 3 years is when it started to become more and more accepted. "I think Warzone was the kick off" And when you have Developers that don't want to do anything about cheater and hell pretty much give them free range to their game even when its effecting legit players i can only feel that we as LEGIT players are in or about to be in a very dark time to be gaming. Sad times ahead to be a legit player. :/

OkPangolin2463

And ultimately, I think, blaming SE and PCF for cyber bullying is a way for him to try and control the narrative on this. After all, he can control the narrative on his YouTube channel by deleting and editing negative comments. That known to be happening over there. He can’t do that here. Not to mention the some of the things said in the video could be seen as as slander. Objectively it could be seen as damage control to keep this from wrecking his YouTube channel. Honestly, it wouldn’t be far fetched if was kicked from the ambassador’s and then publicly come out and say he’s quitting the game and the ambassador’s before the other side can make any kind of public statement on the matter themselves.

Bozzified

I think it's time to move on from drama I say. Hopefully he learns from the experience.

0utriderdetected

Unrelated but thank you for all the work you did on outriders app. It’s a great tool and I use it frequently👍🏼

Bozzified

The Worldslayer version is going live tomorrow with the release of the new update ;)

Merquise813

Now this is what i wanted to hear.. it's a great tool to test builds before u commit to modding ur limited gear.. hope they improve loot drops on gloves and boots..

BabbleOnYT

Here here Bozz, hope it passes soon enough and we can get back to enjoying what we are playing - SongsOfRaze

Bozzified

Indeed.

JimiHendricks

I legitimately just wanted to see if he just had any proof as to how he managed the "impressive" drops he got since, knowledge from Day 1 dictated otherwise?

stefke_be

Ow damn the big man coming in 😳

0utriderdetected

Sounds to me more like the, “I got caught” so going to play the victim card and I got bullied. My 2 cents would be that he got released from the program, and is making up excuses. I don’t think anyone on here has actually bullied him, just calling him out on wrongs. Kinda soft if you ask me. As a creator you need to have thick skin, people will talk shit, it’s how you handle it moving forward. Also being the bigger man explaining your wrongs. He basically blamed his entire situation on the “devs” and bullying. Just go on twitter and every major content creator gets bullied on the daily. Is it cyber-bullying? To some it might be, but his exposure wasn’t nearly as bad as i’ve seen. TLDR: When all is said and done, this is a huge W for the outriders community.

JimiHendricks

Cyberbullying stance was definitely a swerve I wasnt expecting. But yeah I agree it looks like he was "given" and opportunity to make his statement and his latest video was clearly it.

0utriderdetected

Agreed. And by no means am a belittling cyber-bullying as it’s a serious issue. I simply cannot fit his situation and CB in the same sentence. Unfair to those who have actually been cyber-bullied for years.

CordlessPotato_

He doesn’t have proof I wish he would just admit he nodded the game and put those mods on there. He said it was an exploit he took advantage of but there is no such thing. My man loaded up a cheat software and just added those mods on there. It isn’t hard to do. My buddy mods his gear but only puts mods on that can actually drop on that gear to take away his RNG grind and do more build testing. I still disagree with that as I like grinding for drops but to each their own.

henky9885

Is that popular Youtuber that has Fortress on almost all of his guns in the apoc slot?

CordlessPotato_

Nah fortress can land in apoc slot I mean it’s just RNG. This YouTuber had a t3 mod on a legendary in the first slot that wasn’t changed and doesn’t roll on this gun so the community knew it was instantly modded.

henky9885

There is one guy who had fortress in apoc slot on most of his guns two weeks ago. He has some amazing RNG I guess.

Merquise813

Doesn't matter if he modded the guns with fortress or not. We can't prove that he did. He's smart. LB on the otherhand, posted videos about his gear showing mods that are not supposed to be there.. then calling them exploits.

henky9885

Ya

Dengahob

Yea it’s funny he got exposed and left. Haven’t see. A video from him. Seems he sucks at video games so he goes the cheating route.

jr8c

What cheats he use on Outriders

Dengahob

First he had Torment and Agony his First mod is Mages Rage and than his second mod First things First and third mod is Deathronome. One of his legendary armor is modded to it’s cheating and he clickbait lying to people.

Lourdinn

Who cares?

Rags2Rickius

I only heard about this guy from this sub 😂

Zerosan62

IKR!!!

_milk_honey_

Hahaha I keep linking the reddit post about all his cheating and stealing of videos and he keeps deleting them. Imagine that 🤔

Vryyce

Don't know who this is but just curious, is he one of the ones given early access that were beating the game is too hard to solo drum so loudly? I saw a few of those and could not help but notice they had horrible builds and kept trying to use cover like they were playing The Division. Always gives me a chuckle seeing people so bad at a game getting paid to talk about it.

Erbderp

He was an ambassador for the game

MarcOfDeath

"You can't fire me, I quit!"

EttRedditTroll

He clearly cheated/modded his way to these Legendaries and then he tries to defend himself/deflecting by bringing up cyber-bulling as well as low-key suicide baiting in his recent video. ("Cyber bullying and SLANDER totally has lead to suicide you guys! I'm super cereal!"). Utterly disgusting person and good riddance I say.

Kezmangotagoal

I don’t expect SE or PCF to publicly say anything in the off chance he tries to play the ‘I’m being bullied and they’re encouraging it’ card! I watched the video and tbh it was sort of hilarious with some of the stuff he came out with and tried to apply to his own situation. I have no doubt people are sending him abuse, it’s not pleasant or called for in anyway but pretty much anyone with a social media account gets cyber bullied now and most of them don’t make massive sums of money which being a known cheater 😂 it’s hard to have too much sympathy for him.

chasesomnia

This isn't an attack on OP or anyone. I'm more or less curious on the attention this person keeps getting in this sub. Does a "known cheater" deserve mention, an entire post, in this sub? I keep seeing this name mentioned. I would have never heard of the person or whatever hacks they use, if not for these consistent posts. And who cares what new thing anyone thinks SE or PCF should say on this matter. They've already made their stance clear. This is a none issue for those that don't cheat. It's kind of low effort because what's the conversation we're having here? "Somebody cheated in a single player/co-op game." So what? "SE/PCF should come out against cheaters." They already have and so what? There are more relevant things in this game worth discussing, more relevant players in THIS community that post builds, theory craft, congratulates others. Fuck the OUTSIDERS 👀

Erbderp

This would be the case if he was just a guy playing the game, but he was an ambassador for the game, in a position of authority compared to the average gamer.

chasesomnia

That's the thing, they are just a person, like you and I. No fancy, title makes them any more of a gamer. It's not like this is someone in this community, on some e-sports org, and on some philanthropy cause around the globe to solve world hunger. To be honest, I didn't even know the "ambassador" thing existed until people started making posts about a cheater. If the ambassador thing was so important, why not post questions about the ones doing it right, that are actually a part of this sub?

Erbderp

Because Ambassadors are paid money to run in party with them

chasesomnia

I dunno if that answers my question tbh. I'm sure they are incentivized to be a content creator front for the game. Why aren't we talking about the ones that are actually on this sub? That's what I'm asking.

TxDieselKid

Just watched it and we all can have our own thoughts on this. For me, being a public figure such as he is being a content creator, then the topic of "cyber bullying" is taken with a grain of salt. The National Enquirer (a sensationalist tabloid) still continues to push stories that are completely false, like Ben Affleck being a lizard dressed as a person. Being in the public eye, you open yourself up to criticism outside of the normal realm of most people. Look at the criticism that Kanye gets over anything/everything he does, is that cyber bullying? In being a public figure, you lose some right to your digital privacy. Having your videos critiqued the way reddit and discord did, while finding holes within the credibility of the methods, is not cyber bullying. He says "I made it clear to them that I wanted this to be stopped", meaning he issued an ultimatum that was left unaddressed for 2-3 weeks. Personally, I try to never issue ultimatums in any facet of life. In the professional world (work) I could potentially lose my job for doing such a thing. Ultimatums are meant to divide, they do not exist to bring people closer. "Do this, or else" is a threat of action. To his credit, he followed though with his actions. There is a difference in ultimatums and boundaries. He further goes on to say, "I personally can not support a company that allows for cyberbullying (...), without any proof that (someone) is using exploits". There's a few things to address here. Firstly, posters on reddit/discord that he is accusing of cyber bullying do not represent or speak for the company. I'm pretty sure the company's of SE/PCF are adamantly against cyber bullying and it doesn't take a genus to figure that out. However, when he himself posted evidence of drops that are not able to happen in the game, that that destroys the credibility and integrity that he is held to while being an ambassador of the game, and not being forthright in how he acquired the drops. I said it earlier in the post and I'll say it again, being a public figure (ambassador/content creator) means you lose some right to your digital privacy. Having your videos critiqued the way reddit and discord did, while finding holes within the credibility of the methods is not cyber bullying or witch hunting. The instant you post a video on youtube, you open yourself up to criticism from the world. Now, all that being said, I feel it's fair to say I'm on XB and would **love** to find a modded lobby to get some of those drops he has. I'm NOT against the methods. I'm against not being open and honest with the community **ABOUT** the method of those drops that physically (digitally?) can not happen in the vanilla game.

Complete-Hornet-8854

Well said.

OkPangolin2463

I think this sums it up for me. https://youtu.be/buIKyzONAak

DarthNemecyst

Who cares about him. Fuck him. If u cheat u don't deserve to be an ambassador. If I was leadership in the company he would have been banned already. Worst part is imagine cheating in a pve game pathetic.

cjuice1995

That’s bold of him. He doesn’t just say cyber bullying happened under PCF/SE eye but they are actively promoting it.

caliiforniiakiid

he claimed he quit because of online bullying no mention of being bullied because he cheated... he left that part out

ted_redfield

People that complain about "cyber bullies" are typically the manipulating bullies themselves. Any time someone is publicizing their alleged harassment it's an immediate red flag to me now.

keyserv

I know I'm a jerk for saying this but who cares? Hell, I don't even know why I'm on this sub. I had my fun with the game. But if the entire point of a game is to play until you don't have to play then there's no point in playing to begin with.

Venomous_B

No one can force u to suicide. It's ones own choice. Just because u threaten suicide doesn't remove his own wrongdoings. Don always blame others. that fellow is just a kid having his usual tantrums.
